Designer Con

DesignerCon is an annual art and design convention that smashes together collectible toys, customs, plush, designer apparel and so much more with urban, underground and pop art. DCon is over 300,000 sq. ft. and features over 700 vendors, art & custom shows, live demonstrations, and much more! The show coordinators strive to provide a fun, safe, comfortable environment for fans, artists, and vendors to meet.

VeVe DesignerCon 2022 Collection

For 2022, VeVe has partnered with DesignerCon International for a variety of events and drops. Beginning with a June kickoff party at the beautiful 3DRetro campus in Glendale, CA, DesignerCon will have regular drops leading up to DesignerCon UK (September 3–4, 2022) and DesignerCon Anaheim (November 18–20, 2022). Prepare for a huge list of surprises in both digital (and physical!) collectibles all year long!

Installment 2

Installment 2 of the DesignerCon 2022 Collection invites two returning VeVe creators and a DCon fan favorite for her first VeVe drop. S2 teases future physical collectible releases from 3DRetro and DesignerCon, and hints at a more robust collection of work to grace the VeVe platform as the IRL DCon events approach. Featured artists in this collection are returning cameos by Tara McPherson and Sket One with first-time releases of some of their most coveted pieces, as well as a newcomer to the platform, Allison Bamcat, a DCon legend with important releases slated for later this year.

Tara McPherson

American Contemporary artist Tara McPherson explores the human condition with a focus on powerful female archetypes. Her otherworldly characters hold tension in their gaze. Inspired by mythology, astrophysics, nature, love, loss, and good old life experience, her portraits delve into psychological realms.

Crowned the princess of poster art by ELLE Magazine, she’s created posters for bands like Beck, The Pixies & Metallica, character design for Sony Animation, designer toys with KidRobot, comic covers for DC Vertigo, and exhibited in international galleries, museums and universities worldwide.
